Caller says he is with the IRS. You ask questions such and he hangs up. I asked what name they are looking for from my number and they don't know.

Had message on answer machine indicating they were from the IRS and this was our final notice and they were going to sue us. We have had them call three times and left a message on our answering machine all three times. They usually call during the day time when we are at work.

I had the same thing happen to me, 3 on the phone messages stating they are filing a lawsuit against me.

We have been getting lots of phone calls from different states, mostly during the day. Today a message was left on our answering machine saying the IRS has filed a law suit against us and we should call this number back right away.
