I just got a call from this number.  I couldn't help but to laugh when he started to explain my lucky number was drawn and I was winning $7,000.  Then he wanted to know why I was laughing and hung up.  Really - What a scam!!!  His number is now blocked in my phone!  

Truly a scam!

I've said it before and I'll say it again...DO NOT answer calls from area codes you do not recognize.. always check ID sites when I get a call like this...they may keep calling for a short time but if you don't answer they eventually give up...can also block the call

Foreign gentleman called and asked for my name and address to verify info.  He then proceeded to say that a survey was done last December to determine people who have paid their taxes, income tax on time.  He then told me that I had been selected for a grant of $7000.00.  He gave me a confirmation number and a phone number to the account department.  That department would verify and set things in motion.  Needless to say, I did not give him my address or make the call.  I went straight to this sight and looked it up.  What a scam..
