This is Community Services for the Blind. I checked my blocked number list and I had blocked them ages ago, so.......I blocked the new number they were calling from. Guess what? They have upped the calls and call from numerous other numbers.  This morning I decided to answer the call to tell them to take us off their list and they hung up when I answered on the first ring.  They called again tonight and I picked it up and told her to take us off their call list, that they are calling several times a week.  She had the audacity to argue the point by saying we only call once a month.  When I disagreed, she quickly huffed, asked if we were the ___ household and when I said yes, she said you have been added to the do not call list and hung up on me.  To prove my point I checked my phone records and they have called so far 7 times this month, and 5 times each the previous 2 months. I am calling their main office tomorrow to complain.   For yours and everyone else's info, the main number is: (206) 525-5556
Other numbers they have called from:  All start (206) 268...followed by 6612,6619,6621,6622,6623,6627,6629,6633,6635,6636,6637,6640.
This companies practices really are a diservice to what they are trying to accomplish.  We need to make them aware!

This number calls me all the time.  It's community services for the blind.  They are relentless about picking up your unwanted items so they can sell it to Value Village.

I've received about 10 calls from this number in the last 2 weeks. The caller ID says "comm serv for" and when I call them, they just have an in-house busy signal (i.e. they recorded the telephone company's busy signal and play it back as a pre-recorded message).

Earlier this morning (11/11/08) I received a call from this number, but upon answering they quickly hung-up.  I attempted to call them back unsuccessfully.

So as to avoid any future "prank" calls I am going to block this number.  

BTW - thanks for this service.  It's great to know that others have experienced the same issue(s).
