a man call to my work left voice mail record so the office hear,claim be from united financial crime department.i call the number back,mad as hell,a lady answer phone,did know anything about me,i ask for information about what i own for online check cashing that i have nver use at all.said no one was here
i said what.i look the number up and found out this is a scam!!!!!

This number just called my job, left a message with someone i dont know, claiming to be an officer Jack White, i guess this will be another report to the FTC

John Smith from United Financial Crime Department left a message at home. He said that Jess Droel  (I could not understand his message he has very thick accent) owe their company and  she used my name as reference.He said that I will be liable to pay that loan. If I don't return his call, he threatend to take legal action agianst me. I did not return the call but I saved the message. Is this a scam?
First of all, I don't know Jess Droel. Secondly, I only give references to my  family and close friends.
How do I report this kind of calls?

I just filed a formal complaint against them with the Federal Trade Commission.
