A guy named Bobby.  He called but left no message.  I called back and his voicemail picked up.

I was not around to answer, and they did not leave a message.

Ditto. No message.

Got a call from them today.  The guy said he was calling from "VIP Passport" and asked if I knew a Vivian Lee in Bothell.  When I said I didn't, he said "Oh you must know her boyfriend. Can I call you right back?"  I said "What is this about?" and he repeated "Can I call you right back?".  When I again asked "What is this about?" he said "How about I just let you go?" and then I hung up.

I don't get why he wanted me to say it was OK for him to call back. Is this some legal twisst?
