I received a call a few minutes ago. Saying that they were from the US treasury . That is was selected to receive a grant for 9000.

I have received 3 calls today from 206-209-1664. One at 2:12 PM, 3:26 PM and 6:29 PM. So far, I have not received a message but I want to stop being harassed. I am on a National Do Not Call List.

Just got a call from this number @ work. They call 2 times while I was at lunch and just now and I answered. Could barely understand, but said I was selected to receive $9000 and wanted to know how I wanted to receive it. Not sure because he sounded foreign but I think he said he was from some U.S. Federal Office?? He got mad and hung up because I asked if this was a scam! Before he hung up, he yelled "what can I scam from you."

I just received the same call ...said she was calling from the "US Grant department" in DC and i was randomly selected to receive a $9000 grant because i paid my taxes on time! She said i could get the money in about 45 mins via direct deposit or western union if I call another number, 202-798-3307, and talk to an account manager....I told her it sounded like a scam to me.... since when does the US government do anything in 45mins and verbally offer you money over the phone! She hung up!

I got the same call from a man with a hard to understand accent. When he told me Western Union was involved I ended the call.
