Said they were US treasury and we could be in big triuble

SCAMMERS FROM OVERSEAS- Do not talk to these people or call them back.

This is from Phoenix, AZ.  I received a phone call from this number on 1/30/2017 at 11:16am.  A recording was left saying, "Magistrate, judge, or grand jury for a federal or criminal offense.  This is a final attempt to reach you.  To resolve this issue immediately and to speak to a federal agent of Internal Revenue Service Department, call back number is 206-207-1628, I repeat it's 206-209-1628.  Thank you."  I immediately knew this was a scam.  The IRS never calls you on the phone.

I rcd a call from 206-209-1628 as well today .   I received a phone call from this number on 1/31/2017 at 10:07am.  A recording was left saying, "Magistrate, judge, or grand jury for a federal or criminal offense.  This is a final attempt to reach you.  To resolve this issue immediately and to speak to a federal agent of Internal Revenue Service Department, call back number is 206-207-1628, I repeat it's 206-209-1628.  Thank you."

Same as bopam's experience except I called back.  A man with a very thick accent answered.  I had to ask three times before I could understand him.  He finally said I had called the Internal Revenue Department.  I have had many, many, many conversations with IRS agents.  They do not call you without leaving clear information and they always identify themselves with a number.  Scam. Scam. Scam.
