let call go to voice mail. said the IRS is filing a law suit against me and to call them back at 206-201-2281. blocked the number.  got another identical call from 509-590-2354 and said the same thing.  blocked that too.

Just found the IRS Scam recording on my answering machine.  Voice was computer generated and hard to understand.  Same as above- there was an arrest warrant issued for me (no name used) and I should call back today to 206-201-2282.  I had heard about this scam but never actually received a brazen false threat like this one before.  Why can't these scammers be stopped and thrown in jail?  It's outrageous.

Just got the same call last night (at 5:50pm) - robot-sounding voice - saying that the IRS is suing me and that there is a "non-bailable arrest warrant" out for me.  Did not bother to call back, because the IRS will not try to arrest you without visiting in-person first.
Total scam.

Same IRS scam from the 206 number just called me, left a voicemail..lol what a joke.I am surprised the authorities have not stopped them yet after seeing so many people get same call.

This is 2/25/2016 I got a missed call, and a message on my answering machine, at 8:41 AM. The message was very difficult to understand, but spoke of an arrest warrant for me, but did not have a name on it, about taxes.  When I called the missed call, which was 206-201-2282, I got someone who could hardly speak English, and sounded like one of these India types, saying I needed to talk to them about my underpaid taxes for 2009 to some other date.  I am retired and on SS. so I do not owe any taxes.  I was taking College online during those times.

This is definitely a Scam, and they left that number, so the IRS should be able to trace it back.  We need some arrests made, but not to us who are receiving the calls.
