They called stating they were from the US government and that I was eligible for a 9200$ grant for paying my AMERICAN taxes on time.  I am a Canadian. lol  When I asked questions to catch him in the lie, he got upset, starting telling me to F*** off and that I shouldn't ask questions since it was the government calling.  Also, they didn't have any of my accurate info.  Example: Nickname instead of real name, wrong address, wrong country. lol

I received the same call today from a woman claiming to be calling from the US government. She told me that I can receive the money through Western Union but in order to receive it I have to first pay a security deposit of $600.00, that I should put on a money pack and send to her. I asked her since when does the government send money through Western Union? These scammers are coming up with creative ways to scam people out of their money.

Not only that but they do not know geography very well and the difference between Washington state and Washington, DC area codes.

I got the same call , except it was a 300 dollar deposit.    buy money pack, then  go to western union.

I'm getting that exact phone call right now they won't stop calling I even had my mom talk to them and they were like what what security deposit it's completely free..... Then they told my mom to give me my phone and my mother said I was in the grocery store and the lady goes we'll go follow her then
