My mom got one of these calls from the "IRS" this morning...Its a scam, the real IRS would send a letter or ask you to bring in your tax documents for a audit...  Thanks for all the posts about this, It's the only way I got my mom to stop freaking out...lol...be safe my people...

Called from 2684075122 (Antigua/Barbuda) and said this was my final notice and the irs was filing a lawsuit against me. For more info call 2062022044.

someone called me stating they were from the irs and that a lawsuit had been filed against me. phone # 206-201-2044 the gentleman could hardly speak English. I asked for his name, badge # and lawsuit file #.  He became upset and told me not to interrupt him when he was trying to talk to me. Could someone please check these people out.

Got the same kind of call as mentioned above on my answering machine. It HAS to be a scam, especially if a foreigner is on the other end of the line!! I'm sure they're trying to scare people into sending them money. People, please remember this: THE IRS DOES NOT CALL YOU!!!! Not wasting my time to return their call either!!!
