Got a call from this number his morning looking for an Alyssa Venalova. Have never heard of this person but they claimed to be from the IRS criminal investigations department. I'm pretty sure this is a scam the person sounded Indian and there was a lot of background noise.

I just got a call right now. He gave me one hour to send them $3,000. I'm calling the IRS right now.

Total scam.  Originates in either India or Pakistan.

RS does not file lawsuits.  Tax disputes are civil matters.  90% of all IRS tax disputes are settled administratively.  IRS has absolutely no authority to call on local law enforcement for anything. Local law is never involved in IRS tax disputes.   If LE is necessary, US Marshals do the job.  IRS does not cold call anyone and all contacts are initiated by US mail.

I got a call 12-8-2014 and left a recorded voicemail claiming to be irs saying that i needed to call back at the number and it was the last time before they pressing charges against me called back 3 different times first 2 didnt get noone the 3rd got someone to saying hello i explained the voice mail and he asked is this andrea sosa and i said this isnt her number and never hs been her number and he just basically said goodbye very unprofessional
