multiple calls but no one is there when answered

Refused to take me off the call list and hung up on me

THEY KEEP CALLING AND WILL NOT SAY ANTYING

I received a call from 205-900-3025 at 8:27 a.m.  today (11-16).    Believing it could be a legitimate call (same as my area code), I answered.  No one said anything.  After a few seconds, I got "beeps", indicating the phone connection was discontinued.  I don't understand why these low lives will not stop this practice!!!!

Whoever this is won stop calling and when I answer they say nothing then if I call back k I Dont get an answer it just ring for a while and then hangs up. It's soooo irritating.
