Keep getting marketing calls from this number

Why don't they leave a message?  In today's world - very few people will just pick up the phone when it is a number they do not recognize.  How stupid can collector or marketer's be - leave a message otherwise quit calling - try snail mail instead.

They don't want to lose the element of surprise which can be a very effective collection tool.
