This company Portfolio Recovery works just outside the law.  They buy old debt for a few cents on the dollar and then try and collect that which is already past the statute of limitations in the case of My state 5 years. In this case if any the debit is more then 14 years old. They are True Scum Bags Please do not grace them by paying them but ask for a true copy of the bill (original) They will not have it and then stop answering the phone.  They have called me for the past 8 months.  It's there phone bill..and they know where they can put it.  (A division of Capital One Bank)  ((BARF))
