Saw on caller ID as it rang-said Birmingham, AL. I have my answering machine off until after Nov. elections due to all the political phone call crap I get. After it rang  about ten times, they hung up. I don't answer ANY calls anymore that I do not recognize-and if ans. machine is on when it rings while I am home, I turn the machine off before individuals can find out if my number is answered. If anyone (family, etc.) needs to get in touch with me, then they call my cell phone).

These people (?) have called my house 13 times (Caller ID sometimes blocked)  and when my wife answers there is no one on the line - silence until she disconnects. Don't have any collections or bad accounts so who are they? Next step is the PSC here in Alabama. Anyone know who these folks are ?
