Don't bother calling these numbers back. I retired from Verizon as a tech. They have what is known as a DOD number or Direct Outward Dialing. Calls calls only go out. Also,if they are a real charity group or hired by one the DNC list does not help you. Charities and anybody you have had dealings with can call anyway. If they call after 9pm you can sue. Legally they can't call after that time. If you tell them to put you on their DNC list and they call again, note the time and date and tell them you will be suing. You can.
