Unknown caller ID.  No message left...blocked it with Phone Tray softwaer

This number ( 205-379-6027 ) is from Birmingham, Alabama at 11th. Street South and 14th. Avenue South and claims to be from the Alabama for Veterans soliciting for money. I support our Veterans and give locally. I never give over the phone to people I do not know or who called me.

Scam I told them to quit calling me.

If this really is the veteran's association, which I highly doubt, there are much better ways to solicite donations without disturbing people' privacies in their own home.  We have email, social media, volunteer fund raisers. I pay an outrageous phone bill only to have to keep my ringer off so as to get some peace and quite at home from the phone constantly ringing from nonsense calls.  RIDICULOUS!   And yes, I'm on the do not call list.  I have even started getting calls on my work phone and work cell phone which is not cool!  Something has got to give!!

Why doesn't the DNCL stop the other calls?
Charities, political calls, and non-sales calls are exempt. "Business relationships" may be exempt. Criminals do not obey the laws, and happily ignore the DNCL.

Obtain a call blocker.  Google is your friend.
