I did't get a phone call, but this guy sent me a bank check from Franklin Pierce University for $2400 to buy a $300 scooter from Craigslist.  This is after I emailed him telling I won't accept a check.  I won't attempt to cash the check, but I'd like to know who to contact to bust this scam up.  I saved copies of the emails, and have the check in hand.  The emails are nearly identical to those above, but from Mark Williams hharry25@gmail.com.

I also recieved a check sent to my office today I called the Frankiln Pierce university and they told me to send them a copy of the check and then report it to the police. 603-899-4180 is the number for the Fianancial office.

I too received a bogus offer from this email for an item I posted on craigslist. I had a weird feeling about it so I googled the email address and I found it on several websites' lists of scammers. I have since blocked the email and hope this [***] does not make further contact with me.

Did you notify Craigslist or any authorities?

Still using this address  hharry25@gmail.com wanted to send a mover for a part that is less then two lbs. I have gotten this scam mail before. Question. The e mail they use to contact you first is never the same e mail as the follow up. Is there a way to report that to Craigslist about the second e mail?
