These scumbags are spoofing Caller ID, using a VOIP robo dial program.

Sometimes, the spoofed phone numbers are not valid.
Sometimes, the spoofed phone numbers are legitimate. When this happens, the real owners of the spoofed numbers become victimized by hundreds of angry people like us.

Being on the DNC list doesn't help.
Having an unlisted number doesn't help.
A computer is doing all of the work.

This is a company called "card services" and when you actually answer & press whatever number to talk to someone ... guess where ya going ...OVERSEAS.  I have filed so many complaints against this company with PA Atty General and CA Atty General.  CA sent them a cease & desist order about a year ago but they ignore it.  The incoming phone number ALWAYS changes too.  While the number is a U.S. number, the operation itself is overseas.  I have been getting calls from them for several years and even when you tell them to stop calling you ... they keep it up.  They will never stop calling.  I get them on my cell ph & my land line.

Even if you're on the do not call list?

Especially if you're on the do not call list.  They've hacked the database and know that all the numbers in it are numbers that have someone who will answer on the other end.  That's the reason people put their number on the list in the first place, because they have a legit phone number they don't want to be called.
