Says your CONNEX credit union number has been cancelled and to call this number to reinstate.  TOTAL SCAM!!  Police have been notified.  Do not call with information!!

This is a scam.  I called Connex as well and they have an automated message saying that these text messages are scams outside of Connex used to gain personal information for malicious use.

I am an AT&T technician .  My text was to call a 203-779-xxxx number  (Madison) .  Like a dope I fell for it.  Connex had already been alerted and I suffered no harm (except to my pride...LOL) These are not AT&T account #'s.  FYI 203-663-xxxx is Killingworth.   Scam artists establish the account #'s with Mom and Pop telephone companys with no physical end point. They never actually work anywhere in Madison or Killingworth.  They are forwarded to anywhere in the world.  That's what the FBI will try to figure out.  My question is how in the world did they know both my cell# ..AND  the first 4 digits of my card.......I learned a lesson.   The world is full of trickery.   BE CAREFUL
