Called and left no message.  Let's face it.  Reporting does no good.  I've reported so many numbers in the past, it's a lesson in futility.  National Do Not Call registry is a farce.  It was a great idea, but every scammer, spammer and dirt bag out there gets around it.  Besides, so many callers are from out of the country, and we won't do anything about going after them.  This is another number on my call blocker now.  And the phone giants won't automatically block these numbers (like viruses on the computer) because??????????

Received a call from this # on 4-29-15 @ 8:15pm. Claims I did a survey for my phone service, which I NEVER did! Offered to send me a gift card up to $300, IF I COULD answer a few questions! At which time I hung up!!

Got a call from this number. They didnt leave a message when i didnt answer. Highly suspect, Didnt recognize the number. However, what is more interesting is that i got a call 30 minutes earlier from (859) 583-3042. I picked it up on the 2nd ring and there was no sound. Which is different then silence on the other end.  I looked that number up online, and one person said it is a Google Voicemail number (to hide true location) which calls us to validate phone lists numbers. Then i guess if someone answers, then they call you back...... that is exactly what happened. Bet if i answered the 2nd call, it would have been the same scenario as the other guy says here on the site.

Got a call a few minutes earlier from 586-254-1424 saying my computer was ready for pick-up. I've never had a computer in any repair shop so I told this person they had the wrong number. A few minutes later I get a call from 203-583-3042 and did not answer. I know those two numbers were tied in because this has happened in the past. I don't normally get odd numbers so I know it's a scam somehow.

Occasionally I do surveys, so I was unsure at first but this is totally a scam. Real survey companies never ask for your credit card number to mail you your reward.

the same exact thing just happened to me. Same number, same line everything. I hung up too. I didn't do any surveys. Nor did I purchase anything that is giving a gift card offer.
