Message started out that this was regarding IRS debt, after hearing that I knew it was a scam and hung up.

Left message, since I didn't answer the call.  Claimed to be from US Dept of Treasury.  Said not answering the call or failing to immediately call back would be seen as guilty of avoiding federal magistrate indictment by federal grand jury and would lead to my arrest.  Man spoke in extremely thick foreign accent.  Obviously a scammer

I received a call from this number this afternoon. Said it was an official call from the IRS. That I made a mistake on a old tax return. When I argued with the man (very thick foreign accent) he said he would be sending the sheriff within the hour to arrest me. What is wrong with people. If they would get a real job with the amount of energy they put into scamming people they would be rich.

Claim to be IRS, an obvious scam.
