I received a text from this number on my cell phone:

"As a thank you for your visit, we have a $100 gift card for you. Please call 877-300-7975. Gift ID 2691B. Txt Stop to remove"

My ex is in area code 203, so I thought it may have been a new number when I saw it... obviously this is something different. I did not call the number suggested or call the number that texted me.

I did'nt respond to it nor do I know anyone in the 203 area code who would send something like this to me.
