Skin care company whom I nearly got scammed for. I STUPIDLY filled out an advertising form for a free trial of a 'miracle' skin cream only to find on the final page that they wanted £2.95 for postage. Fine with that but not too happy about providing my credit card details. Would've preferred PayPal as then I would've been (perhaps) safer in the knowledge that they were a reputable company. However I decided to check reviews online before carrying on and found reviews stating the product was a scam with no/little anti-aging benefits as claimed. Also their credit cards kept having money taken from them after cancelling the products. The companyphoned me today asking why I hadn't filled in the credit card details for the postage and I told them straight what I had found out and to remove my details from there files. Here's hoping!!! Im old enough to know better and should've checked reviews beforehand. I had no idea that the preliminary form had gone through with my name, address, and phone number (thankfully not my home number). Hopefully my details won't get sold on! Honestly! I could kick myself! Please be aware folks! Facebook has a lot to answer for too!
