breitbart,theblaze, and drudge are your sources of information?  The reason those sources are huge [***] is because that is where they pull all of their "facts" from.  The most recent and blatant attempt at Constitution destruction came from Conservatives' efforts to suppress certain citizens' vote.  The targeted citizens were elderly,poor,students, and brown.  I suspect the perpetrators of this disenfranchisement would have included Jews and Gypsies, too, if they could have.

In the early 20th-century Milwaukee, WI elected two socialist Mayors. (They ran as Socialists.)  During that time, Milwaukee beame America's best governed, healthiest and safest city for decades with clean government, fiscal responsibility, public works, vocational education, public health, a great park system, clean air, support for workers' rights, etc.

At the same time, Milwaukee was home to many wealthy entrepreneurs such as Pabst, Blatz, Falk, Harnishveger, Briggs and Straton, and many more. They chose Milwaukee specifically because of the clean government and stronge public institutions.

My, my, are you uninformed or MISinformed.  What I want to know is why is it only the "blacks and browns" as you call them who should be exempt from proving they are a citizen to vote?  I guess your motto is "vote early and vote often."

For your information, Gray Mare, the Voter ID law proposed in Wisconsin accepted all Wisconsin driver's licenses, without question.  Several problems.  A birth certificate is not required to obtain a driver's license.  Passing a written test, passing a road test and paying the fee are the requirements.  Citizenship is not a requirement.  The assumption that a legal driver is a legal U.S. citizen is false.  Conversely, the assumption that persons without a driver's license are not eligible voters.  Those assumptions are blatantly prejudicial both for the drivers and the non-drivers.  

The Nation-wide attempt to require approved ID before being allowed to vote was pure supression against voters who are poor, old, students, and are city-dwellers (white, black, and brown).  The proposed laws made no mention of U.S. citizenship.
