Claimed he was from the IRS.  Hung up, The IRS does not call on the phone.

Says I owe the IRS

is this a scam call? said his name was james anderson.

I just received a call at my office from a robo-voice call saying....
"This is James Anderson from the IRS.  The reason I am calling is that we have been trying to reach you regarding an error in you tax filing  (though he pronounced it "filling")  if you would like to discus the error in your tax "filling" please call the line 2028369784, again call James Anderson with the IRS at 2028369784...thank  you"

I know that this is a scam call, because the IRS doesn't make initial contact by phone.

I am James Anderson from the IRS please call me back at this number 202-836-9784 but on voicemail the number showed 615-720-9901. IRS doesn't call. Please stop these calls.
