lft message saying I was under investigation for writing bad checks because I was affliated with a Kathleen Meyer to return call.  Woman was threatening and very rude.  Called st atty office said this is false as I don't know Meyer and I don;t write checks.  The woman said her name was Angela Black.  Was told not to answer any further calls fr her as well as not retutning call which is what she "ordered" me to do.

Did you ever hear back from them? Or did they ever file charges against you?

A message was left at my home demanding I call this number back and it was from someone named Amy.  I called the number back and she was rude and demanding.  I was transferred to someone named Jennifer who proceeded to be very rude and demeaning to me.  They refuse to tell me what company they are with but they did say they were going to have my husband and I arrested.  I asked several times who they worked for and all they would say is that they were investigators for check fraud and demanded money from  us.  I can't find any information on the phone number.

I received a phone call from this phone #, J P Associates & a lady named Jennifer who was very rude & stating she can & will have me arrested for check fraud.  She rufused to give much info on this matter.  She said I would know all about their company when I was arrested.  She said I committed check fraud in February, 2007.

I recieved a phone message from the number of 202-827-1500. The woman's name was Amy Schwartz from the Fraud and Worthless Check Division. She did not say what division she was from. She told me that my name came up and that I was affiliated with an Annie Hunter (whom I have no clue who that individual is). They said that they are investigating this woman and that my name came up while investigating her. She told me that the case number was #254408. She never once mentioned my name or anything about me.     I wanted to write this so that anyone who gets a message like this knows that this is a scam and to not answer or call them back!!!!
