I called all three credit bureau's and spoke with a customer representative about fraud alert. It was simple, so all you do is ask them to put a free 90 day fraud alert on your credit and when the 90 days are up you could repeat it for another 90 days, so on and so on. It is all free. The great thing about it is that the credit you apply for, or a car loan, or whatever it is; that bank, or finance person will call you to make sure it is you that is applying for the credit, or loan. It works, but it won't stop the fraud calls unless you block them. I don't know the number, but ask whom you talk to for that number. The credit bureau's would know. If anyone ask you, why you have this fraud alert when they run your credit just tell them you don't want to be a victim of Identity Theft.
