Called fax number which generally means it is a scammer calling.  Really bad with phone calls lately. Am writing my Congresswoman and see why the Feds allow spoofed numbers.  This number probably spoofed since can't look it up.

Do you have ANY idea how hard it is to track down a spoofed number? The 'Feds' aren't allowing ANYTHING, scammers just don't give a CRAP!

YES, I know. A lot of times you can look up the number even if it's spoofed. It is not the number the call is coming from, rather who they want you to think who they are.  Indicating to me this idiot just made up a number, too lazy to fake real number (that is probably not in service) but phone company allowed "spoofing service" and themselves to make money on every call. They are as guilty as the low life scammers.

First you say you couldn't look it up, now you're saying you can. Which is it?

caller said Justin with security pro calling homeowners. I told him we are renting and he said oh ok thank you and hung up. Caller ID said Washington, DC
