Anyone know who this is?  When my answering machine came on I could hear a man's voice that sounded Middle Eastern or Indian but couldn't make out what he was saying because of my machine greeting.  The CID said Tech Global.

Most likely someone running the "Windows Tech Support" scam. The caller will try to convince you that they are from or associated with Microsoft, that your computer is sending them error messages or is downloading suspicious files or is full of viruses and malware. They then want to take remote control of your computer to "fix" the problems. While on your computer they will install their own malware, install a boot password, then charge you money to clean up the mess, most likely leaving a back door or keylogger so they can steal personal information. Do not ever let anyone who colds calls you about a supposed computer problem have access to your computer.  It is all a scam.

Never mind.  I just found out it is a global scam.  The one from Asia that say they are from Microsoft or Windows and there's a problem with my computer and they need remote access to my computer to fix the problem, then they download virus, etc and upload all my personal information.  Don't answer if they call!

I just received this call and they wanted access to my computer. He said he was calling from Microsoft and my computer was sending error messages to their server. Of course I did not fall for this trap and when I asked him how he got my number and told no way was I going to my computer he hung up on me...lol
