This phone number (202) 766-6243 is owned by a scam company that has tons of callers calling from the same spot (you can hear them in the background).  The caller, who is paid liar, said that he was investigating on behalf of the IRS and that I needed to pay him thousands of dollars immediately. It was all a huge lie.

Scammer.....automated message threatening lawsuit by the IRS.  The actual  IRS would never do this kind of call....never.  This is just so sad.  I deal with elderly people daily......it is sad that they receive these type of BS calls and believe them!

This number calls and leaves automated messages saying they are the IRS and will sue you if you do not pay them. All [***]. Do not believe anything from this number.

These people wouldn't identify themselves and claimed that the IRS was filing a lawsuit against them and that I needed to pay them.

I just received an automated message that I needed to call 202-766-6243 because I was being used by the IRS and I need to call them immediately.  Of course I knew something was fishy but I called the number anyway to tell them to remove my number from the list and no one ever picked up.  Looked the number up on the internet and found all these responses.  So sad to do this to people.
