We keep getting call that the caller ID identifies as coming from "Washington, D.C. as phone number 202-759-2713. Although no message is left, my son answered once and the caller hung up. The calls have also come as late as 9:45 p.m.

Caller ID says "UNKNOWN" but 202 area code is definitely Discordia Central. But then you can figure that any call that comes in at 8:52 PM with an unknown caller ID is NOT someone you want to hear from so we didn't answer. One thing to remember is that in today's world of internet VOIP phone service, spammers are almost always calling from outside the United States and spoof their phone numbers to make it appear they originate domestically. The problem with this is that the government has absolutely no control over them so they call, and call, and call ad nauseum without regard to any Do Not Call List status. All you can do is use a little common sense and ignore the phone calls you don't recognize or get a "Call Blocker".
