Said it was the IRS and they were filing a lawsuit against us and I told him (thick accent) that I was aware of the IRS scam going on and to please take my number off their list and stop calling me.... His reply was that maybe I would prefer they send someone to harass me in person and to have a good day (click) !!

garbage call!! do not know how they get International Call to show up on caller id.

I couldn't get to the phone before the message machine kicked in, but, they said it was the IRS and they were filing a law suit against me. I thought it was a political survey because I recognized the 202 area code as Washington, DC (I've called my Congressman before...). The IRS doesn't make phone calls. They mail a letter first. Got a similar call from a man with a serious Indian accent stating they were suing my son (he referenced his name in the call), which is a hoot as my son is a college student with no credit cards, no job, and no income. Sick of these jerks...

I received a  call from 202 7512471 thought it was strange because I never received a letter now when I called back nobody answered. What is the point of calling n stating they are IRS.....

Yeah, I got the voice mail also.  Boy, what a cheap sounding IRS call!  I dialed the number back and it just rang and rang.  Then, I googled it and found what you folks are al saying.  Do they like, really think the scam is going to work, and what are they asking?
