i recd a call from this number saying that i have been selected for a federal grant.not able understand the logic behind the call.they want my personal details.
finally i had to hang on. they given me a web site adress wwww.usagovermentsgrans.org i dont know whether this is a official ferderal govrnment website.

I received a call today from that number and the person stated that I was selected to receive $7000 in a government grant BUT all I had to do was go to my nearest Western Union and pay $300 for an electronic voucher lolll!!  NOT!  I reported the number to BBB.

I got the same call saying I would get $7000 if I paid for a iTunes card $300 I asked why I would have to get an iTunes card for money from the government they told me the bank would have to use a card that doesn't have a lot of my info.I knew it was a scam the moment he said purchase an iTunes card lol they must think people are stupid and the music that played when he put me on hold was like ice cream truck music

Similar to Hari above, I received a call just now. Same content as in Hari's case.
Recd call from this number saying that I have been selected for a federal grant becoz I was paying taxes in time and an Asian minority member. Caller had my name and address and started asking about bank! Lady gave me web site address www.govermentgrants.org.

got the same call as Hari but the person had a heavy English/European accent. Sounds like a scam !! Scarry part is that they have your home address ...
