The caller is stating that they are a federal IRS agent and failure to contact them will result is a criminal indictment for tax fraud.

I've been getting those calls too last few days. I was like tax fraud?! Like I don't have enough stress lol. Now I have to fight a case against the government. I hope you're right

Total scam - very popular this year, and the overseas based scammers are using it more and more. As I recall, the IRS even has some notice on their web site.

I am not worried about them. Whoever it is if they show up will be looking down the wrong end of a 45.
