Do not answer a call from this number. My daughter made that mistake. They are not native english speakers and I suspect they are actually calling from overseas but have a DC area code. It is obvious from the background noise they are calling from a call center. They told her the Government had money for her and they wanted her account information so she told them, "if you have money for me and you know my address, send me a check". Well, apparently that pissed them off and they called her numerous times and left threatening voice mails which said they had planted bombs in our house and she should say her goodbyes to family and friends because she'd be dead by morning. We contacted police and made a complaint through the FTC website.
