This is a Merrill Lynch fin adviser making cold calls.  Leaves messages without identifying himself.  After finally calling him back, finding out that he is with ML and "wants my business", I asked him not to call me anymore and take me off their list.  In response, he pretty much hung up on me.  Extremely rude and unprofessional.  Dials my number again just a few hours later.  This is like robo-calling, but by a carbon based organism with little or no brain...

and the name of this ML's adviser is Sodyk Khaitov.

Beware scams come in many forms. He says he's from Merrill Lynch but he may not be.

Good point - thank you!  However, in this case, I actually did some research and found him on the ML/BOA website with the same number listed.  Furthermore, there is also an ML office in D.C. with 202-659-something as their main number.
