I dont know if it was a legit thing but i couldnt take the chance of just handin over 149 for "security" or  whatever they had refered to it as for 10,000.

Just received the call myself for my daughter. As I am listening to the guy (could barely hear him), I checked the grants.com on my computer. I told the guy this and that the internet reports they are a scam.
"No. No...." WHY would the government use WESTERN UNION anyway??????

Yes ma'am...you are correct. I too got a call saying the same thing....they asked me to send them $200 and after 10 minutes the will send me $10,000 with that $200...It was so funny thing to me....

I just got a call from this # +45312 to call back 202-657-5284 giving them a code, going to a western union putting down $205 for a signature verification for a $10,000 personal government grant. First of all how would they know what my signature look like? And secondly, i don't believe a grant would ask you to pay to get a grant: doesn't sound legit.

CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE TELL ME IF THIS IS TRUE? I RECEIVED THE SAME CALL FROM THIS NUMBER 202-657-5284 SAYING THE SAME TO GET $10.000 AND I PAID THE AMOUNT OF $ 210.
