Never defaulted on a credit card, but got called from this number. Call back and get busy signal. Does not look legitimate.

i have already sent emails to the FCC and reported to the FTA. Placed on the Do Not Call list. Still get the calls. Any chance this is carrier related also?

You are a nut job! This is a legitimate company calling you because you have defaulted on a credit card in the last 3 years so are trying to sell you a new card to repair your credit. These cards come with high fees and interest and should be avoided. Pay your bills on time and these companies won't get your number!

Steve Clack, you shouldn't open your mouth, or put your fingers to the keyboard if you're too ignorant to give facts instead of misinformation and judgment. I too am receiving calls from these people, and haven't even had a credit card in over ten years. I do, however, enjoy the asinine ramblings of ignorant fools. My guess is that you're one of these criminals.

Wrong. I just got my cell phone and I have never had a credit card before. They either got the number from the previous person using this number (as many carriers recycle their numbers very quickly) or, your carrier is all too happy to give your number to everyone because it uses up your minutes just by answering.
