said they were Kevin Cyrus from the IRS and something an IRS debt.  Said to call this same number back and ask for Mark Brown.  I hung up and he called right back.  He asked "DID YOU HANG UP ON ME?!!"  I said yes and he said officers would be at my door in a few minutes if I don't call back and ask for Mark Brown.  I hung up again.  SCAM !!!!!

An Indian guy with a very heavy accent identified himself as an IRS rep with the name Micheal Johnson, threatening for us to return his call or we will "be sent back to our native country". He said an IRS officer will be at our door if we do not return the call.
We are Americans, so I figured he must have the wrong number. I called the number back and the same voice now identified himself by a different name. He said we will not be getting any more calls from them. I am sure this same guy has called our home and had identified himself as someone giving away free money from a credit company to those with very good credit. BEWARE...THIS IS A SCAM!! Oh, by the way, I started calling him back and harrassing him! lol.

There is a fairly common IRS or "tax scam" being practiced by scammers in both Canada and the USA.
USA tax payers should read this:
http://www.irs.gov/uac/Tax-Scams-Consumer-Alerts
Note particularly the links at that site, warning of the scam!

A shorter explanation is Scam  #11, as shown at
http://phonehelp.2truth.com/facts.html

That site also shows how other 800notes visitors have reduced the number of telephone scams and telemarketing calls they receive. (That site also has a link to Amazon's phone blocker devices and apps, as well as a page showing various government sites that accept complaints or warn about scams.)
