scam for federal tax evasion

Received a phone call from this number today. Caller had a heavy accent and was difficult to understand. Stated there was a warrant out on me due to tax evasion.  No mention of my name. Called the number back. Person said they were the IRS. IRS does not call. They send something in the mail when taxes are owed.

I got that same message also. Scary

I got the same call and this time was transferred to a "supervisor" when I called back.  They knew my name and address and asked if I would like to contact a lawyer or resolve the situation.  When I said that I had a hard time believing that I was actually speaking with the IRS, the caller said I could call them, but that he was going to have me arrested.  Really??? I don't think so....
