Same thing happened to me. Except they had my SS Number. The very next day I was checking my bank account online and there were fraudulent charges. I quick called my bank and they got right on it. As we were speaking there were more charges coming through. Thank God for US Bank. They stopped it all and gave me my money back immediately and even went over my credit bureau report to make sure there weren't any new accounts or loans taken out. This whole experience could have been a nightmare. Thanks to US Bank it's like it never happened. After these calls, check your cards online if you can every day and know what charges are yours. My income is so small that this could have devastated me. The fact that they got me like that really upsets me and I plan on monitoring my account daily. These people are very bad bad people. I don't mean to sound prejudicial, but, yes they had very thick accents. Also, I only pay three bills online with that account, wifi. cell. and my parking card for my school. I am going to stop and start doing the paper check again. This experience was too much for me to deal with. Again, thank God for US Bank!
