CallerID numbers can be spoofed  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caller_ID_spoofing  so if this number calls you, do NOT give out any info. Ask for a call-back number and check the number out before you call back -- this way, you have a chance to check it out and know for sure who you're calling. If you cannot find any info on the call-back number they give you, then do NOT call back.

Got a call from this number just a minute ago, missed it and returned the call and got a message that this number is not valid.  How annoying!!!

This just happened to me as well. They call, I answer, they hang up. I call back and get the recording that I reached a non working number... hrm... fishy fishy fishy.
