Caller says I have a grant from the US government. I stated not interested. Caller says when will you be interested and you should be. I hang up.

I have received dozens of calls from 202-545-4441 stating I have a Federal Grant Due Me. I told them to remove my number from their telemarketing list. They said no no no...that's not why we are calling

This number called all the time and I asked to remove me from the list.  The person on the other end told me that they will not unless I punch in some code on my end.  I told him that I'm not interested in whatever he has to offer and he said he is not offering anything.

Caller said he's from the "Federal Government Grant Department" and that I've been selected to receive $9,000 in grant money.  Seems fishy to me but make your own decision

Scam-the Government does not randomly call people and award them thousands of dollar because they are a good citizen, pays their bills on time, mows their lawn every 5 days or brushes their teeth 3 times a day. There is no US Department of Grants. In addition, these clowns will have you pay an acquisition fee (maybe $250.00 or so). So they get your money and you get taken to the cleaners (you get no money). There is no free lunch, no free money and the only free cheese is in the mouse trap. That is the reality of the situation. Do not call them.
