Threat of litigation and arrest for not paying. Claims to be the IRS.

Got the same call from heavily asian accented male, said would receive grant from gov for $7000.. just to spend anyway I wanted because I am in good standing... left call back number and confirmation number.. obviously a sscam. just stayed on phone trying to trap caller into saying who he was.. but one look up says Verizon..??!!.. looking forward to their incarceration for preying on Senior Citizens.

Thanks to your site, I verified it was a scam. Caller claimed to be from the IRS. I am not a huge fan of the IRS but I know they always write to you before any further action. Is there any way to file a criminal complaint against this number? Are they the reason my phone balance has decreased?

I received a couple of phone calls from the are code 202  the individuals claimed to be IRS OFFICERS
saying they had a case against me for tax evasion for the years 1988 and 1989.  The gentleman that I finally spoke to was rude and hung up on me.

I received a phone call from 202-506-9713 at my work number.  It stated to not ignore this call and there was pending litigation against me from the IRS, etc.  Bad scam.
