when I hit 1 to talk with an agent, the agent asked my name, I asked if he could tell me what company he worked for and he hung up on me

when I hit 1 to talk with an agent, the agent asked my name, I asked if he could tell me what company he worked for and he hung up on me

Just got a call from this company.  They start by saying they want to help homeowners restructure their mortgage or save homes from foreclosure.  But as soon as I asked the caller the name of the company and if it was a public entity, and how the company helps homeowners, the caller got down-right demeaning, ugly, and before I could respond they hung up.  Please, someone, stop this company, individual(s).  This is scary that there are so many people out there taking advantage of others in terrible need.

I just got a call from this number (202-495-7138) on my cell phone. Now that I've researched it, I guess I'm glad I didn't get to it in time to answer the call... And of course, I didn't get a voice mail or anything. Hope they don't bother to call back.
