I have received multiple calls from this number as well, however, today i decided to call them back as they have never left a message.  The recording says that "they" purchase business listings and that they are sorry if they reached my number in error.  After that i was given the option to press "1" and have my number removed from their list.  I hope this helps us all.

This # called me 4 times in 1 day. I didn't answer & no voicemail was left. I have received what I believe to be fake notices in the mail about my car warranty expiring and perhaps it is linked with that. Ridiculous!

I answered the call but it was a recorded message telling me my car warranty was expired and I needed to renew or risk losing coverage.  I was asked to press 1 to speak with a customer sales rep or 2 to be removed from their list.

This is a scam known to police and consumer associations.  See:

Same thing here. I also heard about the scam, and that's the message they left on the answering machine, about the car warranty expiring. They try to make it sound like a good opportunity for you, since they highlight the fact that if you have a valid car warranty, then it will be easier to sell your car. Definitely don't talk to them, and don't call them back.

and still they do not stop
the no-call list obviously does not work-have twice as many calls now, and as a business you are not allowed on the no-call list to begin with, so, half my phone calls at work are stuff like that, up to 5 a day. very, VERY annoying. if I did not need a phone i would disconnect it because of that.
