these people are scammers!!! Be Aware

received a call today at my office number, they had my complete name. Claiming they were from the government grant money and I was eligible for free money of $7,000.00. I asked how did they obtained this information because they were calling a facility. The rep. said: " because, you are an outstanding citizen with no felonies or charges of any kind, and a reward to you this is why you are one of the many that were chosen. They have me a number to contact 202-495-0761 with a money confirmation # 716-9770 for me to claim my money.  I asked who should I speak with when calling this number, their disclaimer was, because they were recording the call they could not give out any personal information.  BEWARE!!!!

I just received a call from 202-495-0761 stating i will be receiving 7000 for doing my taxes early and be an outstanding citizen funny they knew my name which has bothered me. Then told me to write down this number 716-9770 that it was my code for the grant money. I asked who do i speak to they couldn't tell me. So i dialed the number it is a scam connected to someone's computer. I have blocked them. I've never had this happened I'm glad i blocked them before it could of been worse

So i dialed the number it is a scam connected to someone's computer. They told me to go to a Walmart and get an iTunes card for $100 and that the Federal Reserve would reimburse me through Western Union on a Saturday. Every time I ask to speak with someone different no one spoke English the man even yelled at me this is definitely a scam watch out

I got the call that it was urgent and that I have recieved a grant for 7000. He made a point to say that he wasn't going to ask my personal account information. He wanted me to get to a place where the money could be wire asap.  He asked the time I could be at Walmart, so they could wire the money and so the guy could call me and patch me through to his accountant. He had a foreign accent. He gave me the number of the accountant 202-495-0761 and grant #7169777 and instructed me not to give the number to the people at Walmart.
I am so thankful I took my husband's advice and looked up the number. Block the number, this is a scram.
