They claimed they were the IRS!

There is a widespread IRS (or CRA) or "tax scam" being  practiced by scammers on both USA and Canadian residents.

Short answer:
The IRS never initiates a contact via phone.
They always send a snailmail first.

I just received a call from this guy Johnathan night from its and home land security I'm going to make it my mission to call and harass this scum bag everyday he's scamming people and taking advantage of them let's see how he likes it

Yea I set up a fake number and blowing up his phone. He toldnme he was part of tge federal investagation department of the irs.

This same guy called me saying he was a federal investigator

I report this voicemail and called him back he hung up and then i found fraud report page
