Received unsolicited call promising $7,000 free federal grant money and asking for personal info (which i did not provide). They said to call back this number 202-470-0081 to claim my money. I suspect they would try to get additional personal info. I would say beware. This is pretty fishy and pretty sure this is FRAUD. when a colleague called this number and asked for a website from this agency they gave him www.grants.gov, which is a legitimate website though she hung up on him when he tried to probe further.

Call from "Kevin Smith" from the "tax crime division" of the IRS, and that we needed to call back right away in order to ensure that no charges would be filed against us.  They did not say who they were trying to reach.  Needless to say, I have no intention of calling back.
